I would say this is a female.
It is easier to vent when you have looked at a few fish from more or less the same size. If I vent at my place I always see that I vent a clear male and female, then the comparison is a lot easier to make

Not a great picture. I am thinking it is to small to tell yet. Only one I have of that size right now. Hoping for a female. Going to relocate this fish to a 220 early next Year. will try to get a better picture than. I will have some more to compare to than as well.

If # 2 vent (vent closest to anal fin) bigger then #1....It should be female.
If both vents about same size, chances are male.
Some pre-spawn females might have vents similar to a male though!
