Just wanted some help venting this flowerhorn. I'm guessing female but not so sure. Any guesses? About 3" total length short body.

Excuse the dry hands, servicing all tanks today.

the outlines of the tube camofla but I can see by the dark areas that it is fat and rounded so I do agree it is a female. oh you from Cali. What's up

Nothing much animal. Did see your post about tongs and will definitely stop by when in the area. They carry humpyhead? Yeah not sure about this flowerhorn but acting like a female. Here's a profile shot. You can see my confusion.

hey these FHs have big tubes. And this type of FHs females can look like that also..

Just get a look at the tip of the vent and we should be clear. You just confused me with that picture also.

How about in the water side vent shot?

Hmm. It's good to know female red dragons can be so koky.

I tried to take a good side photo, but it's digging a lot and moving around. Not ich, sand dust in photos.

still not clear.

Just need a good look at it like a clear video or something clear. It is a small detail thing..

Is it tappered pointy tip and slightly hook forward a bit? Or is it fuzzy and bushy tip?

It looks like a female vent to me. So does the fish. It looks like female kokster with no black dorsal to trick ppl.

Try putting in a lil bigger male

let them loose. She's gonna lay eggs for him soon. Looks like she's ok with him. He's a bit unsure with her though. But I think they can be a pair

100%female kokster.

Hmm. You think so. I don't want her to get hurt and hes still new and young. I ll let them dry run if anything and pump them up more and perhaps attemp them down the line. Thanks for advice though Nimal.
