I have an electric blue about 5 1/2", about a year and a half old. I think its a female.
What could I cross with it?
And what have you herd/seen it crossing with?

hey dude, i thinks its a male, simply because of the long trailing dorsal and anal fins. mine has them as well and i was told normally only males develop them.

I've herd that too, but the males I've seen have a lot longer fins and there thin at the ends.
I figured it was a female because its kinda small, the yellow coloration on the top of the head (i herd that somewhere), but I'm mostly going off the shape of the vent

i wouldent breed it with any thing. it might infertile, what ever you beedit with is gona look likr a deformed normale JD cross, that beak it has say ita a poorly
made EBJD ur fish wont grow any more ether.

Because of its beak do u think its severely inbreed?
And only being about 5 1/2" does that make it a runt?

The beak shaped mouth indicates that its been poorly bred. Nomal JD's have a rounded mouth.

poorly bred as in inbred?

also could it be a hybrid?

No no just a lot of inbreeding has caused some unwanted traits to appear. Yours is a pure EBJD.
