My mother keeps a freshwater moray, not in fresh..

she found this poor fish with an extreme case of what resembles cloudy eye, it is so bad the entire socket is filled with the cloud, there is no sign of the eye.. the other side is healing up a bit after a massive wc.. there is also a big bulge on the morays' nose making the top part of the "snout" almost twice as big as normal, it almost looks like a tumour going on.. this tumour thing also appears on the lower jaw but not as much, it is barely visible. there is visible tissue damage on top of the tumour almost as if a big parasite crawled inside its top jaw..

fish is 20"

the only tankmate that could have anything to do with this is a toad fish (Allenbatrachus Grunniens)

I cannot speculate in the water quality as this isn't my tank but I think its better than the average since I know she is keeping up with the wc's.

pics up in a couple of hours.

help him please, we saved him when he was the size of a spaghetti!

c'mon salties!

When I use to take care of FW Moray's they would ocasionnally develope cloudy eyes just out of the blue
