Help wanted! setting up tank for self cloning Marble crayfish

After reading a few threads on here
about using marbled crayfish as feeders.
I did a lot of surfing, And ended up
buying 12 little ones off Aquabid.
They will arrive later this week.

But I'm about to set up a tank for them.
And I'm looking for some input from those
of you, who have breed crayfish before.

I'm starting with a 10g, Until I see if I like
them better than my guppies, And convicts.
I plan on using an under gravel filter,
With pea gravel on top of that. And maybe
lava rock on top of that. PVC condo's
and a gravity filter.

Let me know if u have luck breeding them. I was gonna breed them in a 20 gallon for my redtail instead of gold fish. I was also gonna buy them of aquabids

Today, My crayfish arrived. I didn't receive 12 juvies.
The auction was for 8, And he was throwing in 4 more small ones.
I got 8 juvies, And a 2" one. Which is fine with me.

So I cleaned out a guppy tank. The fish in my 150gal were very happy,
And some of the fancy guppies went to LFS. (dry food, And bloodworm exchange)
I still have my convicts, At 300+ fry every couple of months, I cant get rid of them yet.
So here is my crayfish tank, And 1 shot of my week and a half old convict fry.

I looked in my tank this morning, And the first thought to go threw my mind was,
My big cray is dead! Until I quickly realized, She molted. And so did most of my smaller ones.
The smaller ones have doubled in size. And the big one has grown a lot. But no babies yet.

Thanks for the update, I seriously thought about going down this road but my rays didn't show enough interest in crays.

Well, I haven't got rid of my convicts yet. Waiting for a final decision by my Dempseys And Oscars.
