LV Golden Knights!
They showed up about a month ago and havent gone away. I've been doing 2x 50% wc a week on my 240 and its being filtered with a 55 Gallon sump with 44lbs of biomedia (Mag 18 Pump) and 2x fx5s (one has a turbo twist 12x attached). Just added the sump and uv 3 weeks ago and also took out the huge piece of driftwood that was in my tank.

Bump
I have no doubt that it was the driftwood that initially caused the wounds. But since removing it around 3 weeks ago the wounds havent really healed. Any clues as to what is going on? I dose the tank with aquarium salt everytime I do a WC.

So I am by no means a peacock bass expert, but we do have several in our various tanks, including kelberis...I can't get a close enough look at the spots to see them clearly, but I don't think those are wounds. I think they're supposed to be there. Our kels have them too. Hopefully someone else will comment who can tell you for sure, but unless they actually look like wounds and not just black spots, I don't think I would worry.
