I just noticed this last night and have no idea what it is or what i should do to treat it..Sorry the pic sucks but its the best i could do..it looks like the skin is coming off..

looks like a bit of fungus. Keep the water very clean (several small water changes) and maybe add some salt if you have it on hand and the tank inhabitants are tollerant of it. But the main thing will be clean water.
If it gets too much worse you may need to look into some meds but I don't know of a ray safe med to reccomend I would check the sticky.

Sorry i forgot to write back..thanks for the responses..So far he appears to be gettin better..i do believe his tail may have ended up behind the heater as i cant think of any other way this would happen..ive had it blocked the same way for over a year now without any problems but apparently i need to do a better job..Im just keepin the water clean and changin things up to make sure this wont happen again..
