i have two males and 2 females and one of the females is prego. i see the babies moving in her. should i divide the tank or not or put her in a diffent tank. and when the babies come should i leave them with her.

You can leave than as is for now unless the male becomes to aggresive with her again trying to breed. I would not move the prego female due to the fact that it could stress her and she may abort or have the pups premature. If you need to you can sperate the breeding male from the group.
As far as when the pups are born I seperate mine right away and put them in a seperate tank from the adults. This is because some adults will kill the pups, bang them around by accident, outcompete the pups for food and it's easier to see what pups are feeding or not. My seperate tank is either run off the same system as the parents or I use the tank water from the parent tank in the pup tank.

if you do move the pups right away then make sure you use the same water as they were born in. try not to lift them out the water by useing a bowl or tub to move them.

i have a seperate tank linked to my main tank so its the same water flowing threw it. not that im anywere near breeding rays, few years for me i think!

and well done, any pics of mom and dad?

here are pictures of the rays
pic 1 prego female
