I HAVE 2 MOTOROS THAT ARE ABOUT 10" RIGHT NOW AND THEY ARE IN A 125 GAL. TANK 72"X18"X21". I HAD IN OFFER OF FOR A 106 GAL. TANK BUT THE DEMENTIONS ARE 48"X30"X17" . WHAT TANK SHOULD I GET.

How long do you plan on keeping the rays in the tank? If you allready own the one tank do not switch to the other. Save your money and buy the proper size tank or like bella said make your own pond and spend the extra money on filtration.
Niether tank will work so good for you in another 1 1/2 years at most. You probably don't want to hear this but keep the tank you have and sell your rays when they get to big and buy some new baby's, or trade your big ones for small ones.
both are small on the water volume end.... i would keep the 125 and upgrade to a pond or even bigger tank... perfecto 300 wide or contact glass cages and get a 300 from them... foot print and gallons are important
my rays are starting to breed already so i dont think i am going to buy any small rays unless its a leo
