Hi all, just came home tonight and noticed tiny, white tubular-looking bugs MOVING on my Oscar. They don't appear to be settling in between the scales. I don't think it's Ich but I'm not sure.
In the pic they are on the forehead of the fish, but hard to see. anyone know what it is? Thanks.
I have never personally dealt with anything like this, but if it's moving, I remember reading somewhere about a flea that is aquatic. Might be worth looking into.
If it's tubular like a worm it's not water fleas. I'd say it's some type of planaria **spelling not in the mood to correct** though there are some that are parasitic most are not. A solid large water change 60-80 percent the higher end being better and feeding less will rid your tank of them. They are more of an eye sore than anything else assuming they aren't parasitic.
