HELP! Whats the Problem with my Sen?

Hi,

I recently notice that there are some red marks & spots on the tail part of my senegal bichir. I don't know how did he has these red spots, he is all alone in my tank. can anyone give me an advice?

I havent try to give any medication. but i have a FURAN-2 and Methyline blue here at home so I could immediately put it in the water if advice is given.

Before, My sen used to have that red mark on her tail fin... And the only reason I can figure out is that her tank is too small for her to swim freely in my tank... She's in my 10g tank and she is 8-9"... Then I bought a 55g for her and a week or two, that red mark is gone... Don't use methyline blue coz that's for skin and gill flukes only... Try using melafix and salt after WC...

Possible ammonia burn? I would start by testing water parameters.
