I can't tell from that angle take a profile and head on shot. From what I can see it looks like it slammed into somthing put up better pix and it'll be easier to tell.

one of my jags had something like happen at the same spot. it looked like a piece of bone coming out. it eventually went away. fish showed no signs of stress while it was there.
