Hi, I'm new on the forum... I have a 64 gallon tank and 2 aros, 1 jardini and 1 silver maybe es a small tank for a 2 bigs aros but now they dont have more than 3", so im thinking about the tank mates.... i want 2 polypterus ornatipinnis, 1 prochilodus and 1 green terror. Do you think es too much population?? how much time i should wait until change to bigger tank?? and what size of tank recomended?? that's for start planning to buy them.

Really thank you!!! Please be hard whit the comments jaja

I have 1 silver Arowana ,clown loaches 7 discus now. I started with 1 aro 55g then 120g, following 225g, 300g, now a 500gallon tank. Do yourself a favor and just get the biggest tank you can find.

+1 also do yourself another favour and don't put a jardini in with a silver or you'll just end up with a jardini and a load of silver scales floating around ;):D

Silver arowana grow very fast 2-3 inches per month. Buy a bigest aquarium you can afford.
I have 1 in 220 gal and is a litle too small tank. Silver+ jardini = Disaster
And make sure your aquarium lid is tight. They are great jumpers.
Put some weight on lid when they get litle biger.

Get rid of both arowana and do some research. Once you are actually ready to properly house an arowana, then buy one.

Give both those different aro species back to the shop .. Shouldn't even be together in that tank.

ps aros do not grow 3" a month lol. But still it's either the aros go or the tank ;)

Lindsay you are wrong ;)
Mine silver grow 2-3 per month. With frozeen fish
I can seend you proof Dates on pics
Everything is posible these days

2 inches may be possible but not every month .. maybe a growth spurt or something.. and a person would have to be feeding the fish at least 3 times a day which means no job
