Ok I tried doiong a search for this but none of the threads I turned up offered any solutions. A piece of collected driftwood has grown what looks like white hair/fuzz in random spots up to about 1/2" in length. The wood is cypress and was soaked and bleached before ever being added to a tank and now it is in my 75 cycling but I'm afraid to add fish at this point. So is it some kind of mold, or did I bleach some algae into albinoism?

It's probably just fungus from wood that wasn't fully cured. It's harmless, but will take a while to go away. A natural look, right? LOL. Mine did the same at first.
Ok so its not likely to put off any toxins or anything? How likely would a Hoplo be to eat it, and would it be an isssue if he did?
