This is the last thing I need to complete my co2 system. Everything else I have already bought or ordering today. My question is, do I need something like this?

Or is there something suitable for cheaper? Any suggestions on what I should buy? I'm leaving DIY as my last option because I'm not too handy. Or is there an easy build?

Thanks!

Too small IMO:

Beside you can also buy those a lot less from $30-$50 in plant forums web-sites
You can make your own to handle a 125g

I would look into a Large Needle Wheel or a Mag Drive w/Fractionating-impeller to give that extra flow in your tank

That could work there a lot of ways to mix the co2. It doesn't have to be big as long as its mixing the co2 effectively. That reactor has to be hooked to a water pump or inline from the outlet of your canister. Its how it enters the tank will depend how efficient it is. You can go with a long spraybar to get the mixed co2 water dispersed through out the tank.

in that size tank you might want two or have a ton of current in your tank to help disperse it. I guess that is a pretty big tube i wasn't thinking about that. You could find some kind of rig to switch your ~25 mm tubing to fit the 22 mm. But i guess that does throw a bit of a wrench into this idea. I've never tried it before so i'm not sure how it would turn out
