I'm picking up a 125 tomorrow and I have some very noobish questions. This tank is drilled and the canisters are below it. How do I detach them for cleaning? Can I have sand in the tank or will it get sucked into the filters? There are power heads attached as well, I've never had these and know nothing about them. Any help would be great.

Good Deal.

Get us some pix (closeups too) of the equipment / connections and names so we know what we're dealing with.

The rectangular canister is a cascade and I've got that working great. The cylindrical one is still making a bit of noise and has some air in it. I've never seen one like it so I'm at a loss.

cascade and a magnum they both have shut off valves the other is a internal filter as long as the sand is below the intakes a good bit shoulod have no problems
