i currently have 5 angels (with 1 altum), 3 blue gourami, 4 lemon tetra, i baby pleco, 2 mollies,1 cory cat, 1 zebra loach, 1 silver dollar, 1 algea eater( mostly yung) in a 45g hex. i will probably move to a 55g and get tha sd and bg a new tank. will this work? i also have seen the baby altum chase every but the largest 3in angel, are they more aggressive than the regs? help wuld be appreiciated:1zhelp:

Your lemon tetras will not last while the angels are around. What algae eater do you have? Mollies prefer hard, alkaline waters whereas the altum prefer soft and acidic. Your mollies must be moved into another tank.

Get more loaches for the zebra loach. They prefer their own company rather than being alone. What algae eater do you have? CAEs(Chinese Algae Eaters) will not work. They develop a taste for slime coat as they mature and your angels will not like it.

What species is your pleco?

why will they not last? it is a cae . i have not seen any problems but i will follow yur advice any way. the mollies on the other hand either go there or with my 10in. jag. the zebra loach had friends but he got chased everywhere and never came out when i put loaches in there. if you can tell me where to find some zebras i willl try again as every lfstore i go to has already sold them. i hv not seen some 4 about 4 months. it is a plain pleco but it is only in there until it gets big enough for my cac tanks.

Tetras are a natural prey of angelfish in the wild. Your altum has a higher chance of preying on the lemons than the scalares due to different jaw structure.
it is a cae .
CAEs tend to suck slime coats as they mature. Your angels are easy victims. Wide body and slow. SAEs are your better options.
