Help with Aquarium inside dimension, Truvue 300 gallon 96Lx30TallX24deep

Hi,

Currently I have a truvue 300 gallon tank(96Lx30TallX24deep) on order...

Does anyone know the internal dimension of truvu's standard tank? I somewhat assume the dimension given in their website is external dimension... I need this to setup some custom background.

Hello; I have built interior layouts for tanks and always measured for myself as a just in case. One method to get the inside dimensions is to use a tape measure such as those used in sewing. I also have stretched a string inside and transfered to a fixed ruler. Good luck.

Don't start working on the background until you have the tank. How thck is the acrylic? If it's 1/2" for example, take an inch off (1/2" x2 for each panel) of the overall dims of the tank = 96"x23"x29" (LxWxH) internal dims of the tank you posted above with 1/2" thick acrylic.
