Help with bala sharks

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
So I came home last night and the balas were dead and i took theout and measured, got a pic on my phone, but its a crappy phone and don't know how to send pics. The smallest was like 10.5 and the biggest was well over a foot. When i saw the trio, they were a lil beat from being in a 90g with3 oscars and 4 channel cats all bigger than them, but i thought they would get better in my tank. Now my catfish isn't looking bad, but he has a sore in the corner of his lip and im worried. Hopefully this works out, or im gonna have to do a crazy redesign on the whole setup. And my gar is totally fine so my fingers are crossed

And I've done 2 30 percent water changes in the last 5 days and added salt and bumped temp up to 82. The catfish is tough, i just hope he pulls through

Good luck man that is heart breaking to loss some monsters like that I just lost my Oscar.

Do anyone know why?

I do 30% weekly water change and run UV

Thght I'd letcha know my Cat FINALLY showed signs of major improvement today. He's been in a 10 gallon hospital tank for 3 days now, medicating with API Fungus Cure as needed every other day for 10 gallons. Kept temp at about 80, good aeration, kept him outa direct sunlight and kept the water conditions good. His eyes finally cleared up and the white patches on him look like they have cleared up to a smooth, white color that appear to have a healthy slime coat on em. (not sure if he'll get his brown color back in these areas as it may be scar tissue)
