I got this Texas if someone advertising. Now he would not let me view his tank, should of been a red flag but got him/her anyway.

Now have a white what seems substance one the lips, it never gets any worse. But I have treat this by turning down the temp, adding salt with doses of Pimafix, melafix and myxazin. Over the full doses it all went away. And as soon as I stop it comes back, and seems my JD'S are looking like this.

Never had a problem until I got the Texas.

Lower the temp to 23 degrees add aquarium salt dosed at 1 tbls per 5 gallons of water and try treating with an antibiotic for gram-negative bateria. I am not familiar with what's available in the UK so you will have to look. This might work.

Thanks for the info. I've looked into this and I can only get such ones from prescription from a vet. Vets over here don't care less or do anything with fish. So may have to get some sent from U.S
