ok so i want to feed my fish brine shrimp i went out today and bought some eggs and they are currently hatching, i know they dont cost much at all but was wondering if i could breed these guys? i put a teaspoon full into a 5 gallon setup i have for them and made sure the water parameters are right for them, expecting baby brine at 1 pm tomorrow, anyways how easy are these things to breed? i bought food for them is it as easy as feed them let them grow and they will breed?

im not sure what my salt levels are but i put in the recommended amount for the 5 gallon did the conversion from the one liter they go with, anyways my ph is what i belive to be 8 from my test kits, water temp is about 82high and a low of 79 in the tank, its being circulated by one air pump its really moving fast as its the most powerful pump i have

I do the 2 liter hatch and I have found that the temps MUST be 82-84f and the Ph MUST be 8.0+.
I use an air pump and bare airline in the 2 liter bottle and it sets in a 2 gallon bucket with a 50 watt heater heating the water that surrounds the 2 liter bottle...
I get baby brine shrimp in about 27-30 hours and I feed the Jag fry I have with BBS that are 8 or less than hours old..
that 8 hour window is when the BBS still have their egg sack hanging and are over 50% protein, when they absorb their eggsak they are only about 32% protein... from all the info I found on the subject...~BenO
