get a featherfin synodontis they live in any water conditions and are nice looking and will grow to a good length, i hate pictus cats because they get entangled in my nets and it is very hard to get them out. :swear:

any of the common Synodontis species would work; eupterus, multipunctatus, nigriventris. I'd go for either of the former two. Wal-mart's fish section (in my area at least) sells eupterus and often nigriventris...

here's a quick link to some online sellers, if you want to go that route (keep in mind shipping will cost $30-$50 for what could be a $5 fish though..)

Synodontis are great...I ahve 2 inmy tank with my Oscars and they don't mess with each other, but I alos have (2) 4 line Pitus's and a Redtail cat....all get along and do thier part in the tank.
