Help with Cleaning the tank

Hey guys,
I have been having a real problem with cleaning my tank and my wolf fish lately. Normally I do not go near him and he does not go by me. But lately he has been biting the syphon and trying to take my finger off. I've been bit a couple of times now and I was just wondering if you guys had any advice for me when syphoning out my tank with my wolf. He is a 16" mala in a 135 gallon tank.

16" mala has bit you a couple times? What kind of damage did that do?

Get yourself one of those big square aquarium nets wth the long handle and hold it between your syphoning hand and the wolf.If the wolf attacks the net it should get tired of getting it's teeth caught in it and ignore the net after a while.

This. I have my girlfriend keep the wolf on 1 side of my 75g while I clean the other side. My wolf hates the siphon.
