I have a 750 plywood tank with two overflows in the top back of the tank. The return is a spray bar running along the top right side of the tank. I have two 1200 gph powerheads to use as well. No matter how I arrange the tank, solid debris always builds up somewhere and causes the water to get dirty. Any ideas on keeping the tank floor clean?

go to true value or a hardware store and by clear vinyl tubing...you can get 1" diameter pretty easy and jig something up yourself for "suckin". I don't know what your stock is, but some bottom feeders may help cut down on the waste, not solve it though. good luck!

yeah just make your own like this or aim it into a corner and place a new canister intake there to remove it.

Since adding a pair of Royal Plecos to my 32" deep 150g, the amount of poop seems to have increased exponentially. I just siphon it out with a length of 1" tubing or the Python. I need to stand on a step stool to reach, though :)
