1.Are they fertilized?(I'll post a pic in a min)
2.I'm going to transfer them to a 55g, should I bring the parents? I heard that they help the fry grow faster, but might eat them sometime
3.How do I transfer the eggs? Do I just take them out and put them in? Any acclimating?
4.What temperature should the tank be?
5.Should I take any steps to prevent fungus?

Thanks :D

Crappy quality =\

the parents will do this

I have other convicts, an oscar and a senegal bichir.

the oscar killed my old pair ~2 months ago so I'm going to take the eggs out. I think catching the parents should be easier since they'll be defending the eggs

i had a pair of convicts with and oscar and Jd and the fry were fine i waited a week of them being free swimming .. the oscar was 7 inchs ,,,,, female con was like 2 1/2 inches or so and she pu thim in his place

they're smaller than 2 1/2 in, afraid they might end up dead :screwy:

im going to have to transfer them to a diff tank once they grow a bit bigger anyways :D

I would leave the eggs with the parent, where ever you put them. i cant tell if they are fertilized. i would acclamate them unless they are the same temperature. i would keep the temperature at probally 80-82. and COns are good parents so i think theyll get rid of the bad eggs, so i dont think you will have fungus problems. but then again ive never bred cons and im not very familiar with fungus on the eggs.

cant get the parents out without taking all the decor out :X

i guess i'll take the oscar out lol
is a 6" senegal bichir any threat?
