Help with Coralife® Aqualight™ Power Center™

So i got a free Coralife® Aqualight™ Power Center™ and i would like to know a couple of things. first off i have a coralife aqualight that has one plug for two 10k bulbs and one plug for two actinic bulbs. the Coralife® Aqualight™ Power Center™ can make it so each sets of bulbs will turn on a different times. should i set it to do different times or just all on at once and all off at once? any help would be great.

Actinic lamps on a freshwater tank are useless. Do you have live plants? For a 4 foot tank 130 watts of light is more then enough. With that large black aro you have in that tank you'd be better of to keep the lights dim.

You may want to post this in the planted section, but with alot of lighting and no Co2 your gonna end up with alot of algae. Plants will grow with 10,000k but actually do alot better with 6700k lamps.

You got rid of the big black aro?

all i have for live plants is like 6 little things. my black aro died when he jumped out of the tank. then i went to a catfish tank and i got a real bad diesese and lost all of my cats but my crossbread. then got rid of him and now i only have smaller stuff until they grow. but im wondering if i should do the day night lights on the timers or not?
