I am buying about 20 pounds of dead live rock for the base of my 75g
I was wondering if anyone knows about the bleeching solution or w/e it is called, can someone give me some steps and what products to use for this? If there are another way of doing this please say so.

Why are you buying live rock only to bleach it? why not buy once live but now dead rock it is much less expensive. Anyway you can soak it in 10% bleach for 24 hrs, and rinse to kill everything. If looking to cure rock: scrub rock surface, soak in container with power head in dark place for a few weeks. Good luck.

I would just soak them in a vat of freshwater for about 24 hours and then scrub scrub scrub. After that, you can move to your 75 gallon since it hasnt cycled and doesnt have any inhabaitants. Just let them cure in the tank with everything else.

+1...you dont need to use bad chemicals to do this, plus having some dieoff in the new tank will be like a fishless cycle. YAY.

This is what I did.

I soaked my dead / dry rock for about a week. I'm glad I did. My nitrates went up to almost 20ppm. I soaked it for about a week. I'm glad I did. I'd hate to have those levels of nitrates in my reef tank feeding a bad algae outbreak.

Bingo. Bango. Bongo. +1

+1 for the above..
BUT if need to be Killed stuff is on there..
I have done a over night soak in 1 cup bleach to 15 gallons water..
then 2x over night soak to 2 cups vinegar to 15 gallons water.. then two freshwater rinses. then sit out of water and dried for two weeks..
You get clean, dry, ghost white rock!

Im getting about half of my rock from BRS, they do a really good drop at drying out their rocks and when introduced into mature tanks there's never any nitrate problems.

Best but most tideous way to do it is mytee's way, but in the long run you get the best results. Just takes patience.

The only reasons you would get nitrates from LR is this:

One...the stuff is fresh straight from where it is being collected/held. (THIS IS GOOD! It means that there were lots of goodies on the rock...and that hopefully some of it will grow back!)

The only good scenario is this...you bought the rock from a store, or a hobbiest, and its already been cured.
