help with diy glass top alternatives

so im on a budget and i need a glass top anyone got any cheap alternatives to this i was thinking just get one of those clear plastic bins and cutting the right size out of them what do you guys think?

Ive usd plexi-glass. It works, not necessarily the cheapest alternative but it will not break down the road. Although its hard to keep clear. Maybe netting? haha

the problem with plastic is that it warps and falls in... even thin plexi does

I've used plexi too and agree with the bleublaze55, you get that stuff slightly dirty and there goes half the light penetration. Dropped my 90 top, looked at the cost of new and said no thanks lol. Works well for the price though.

I got custom glass tops for christmas from my dad for my 180...It costed approx $200 Not exactly cheap but its very nice...Check your local glass shop
