hey i have a round barrel. and i want to put atleast a 1inch tube out the side of it. what could i use.? i dont know much about this stuff. could i get the part local.? im heading out to work now ill check back later, thanks
you are looking for either a banjobolt or a bulkhead, farm supply stores call them banjo fittings, most hardware stores call them bulkheads, you can get them in many styles
You could also use PVC connectors found at the local hardware store. They are in the electrical section though. You just have to get a gasket or some silicone and the male and female connectors. It would only cost you about two bucks.
imo your best to make your own out of pvc fittings the bulkheads will work but only if you modify it to make it work so why not save some cash and DIY it. get some Silicone and it will contour to the abnormal shape let it set for a few days and test fill. do it outside just in case you have a leak. good luck
Yeah, just trim the inside PVC part to fit the comtour of the barrrel, throw a huge glob of silicone on there and put it on. You should be good from there.
