hello everyone,
so here is the story, i bought a tank about a year ago with bunch of plants and about two inches of eco complete, lately i decided to rescape my tank and add some slopes and for that i need some more substrate, but i cannot afford it at the moment due to the school expenses and buying other aquarium stuff that basically drained my wallet.
For the past few days ive been reading bunch of stuff and i notices that some peple use regular potting soil covered up with some sand and gravel, i would like to hear what yu guys think about and what are my options? or maybe i should mix in some gravel into my eco complete?
And also i would like someone to tell about fertilizers and what kind do i need and if theres other options than just buying them from the store.
