I have had a spotted bass for about 9 months now. I just recently upgraded to a 55 gallon tank and added some "tank mates". I added a Largemouth and a Crappie. Both of these fish are about the same size as the spot. Since I put them in there, the spot has displayed "aggressive behavior" towards the other two. It started with what I call a "dance" with gills and mouth flared and odd movements in front of the others. Now, he keeps them pinned in the corner and nips at them and both their tails are frayed. They are big enough that I think he can't really hurt them and they do eat despite his selFISHness. My question is: will this ever stop?

Black bass are known to be pretty territorial. A much larger tank might help, but then again separating them may be the only solution.

Try more decoration also, you want something that will break the line of sight.

this^^

When i had largemouth they would bother everything all the time. Added more driftwood and plants, arranged the tank differently, harssment stopped. If it would start up again, i would just re-arrange the decor, and it would stop again
