It is now satanoperca jurupari. They've been reclassified along with several other species that were formerly included in geophagus genus.

Hi guys, thx for all the help so far. Dont stop yet!
So with the 450 I can fit in most earth eaters?
However...I have some bad news!?!?! My parents have had an offer on a jewel 300, and they seem to be swaying towards it!
If I end up with the 300 what earth eaters would be suitable? I know there are Gymno's, and thhey would make an awsome biotope tank...but I'm trying to keep to fully tropicals...any suggestions?

BTW Dominator, the big 16 isn't quite here yet...just another...month and 7.5 hours...:D Then I get my first big tank...:nilly:

Some redheads or leucotista would be nice...:grinno:
