Help with Endli Growth

I got this guy 4 months ago at about 2.5" and he's barely grown an inch. I also have an ornate and lap that are growing as expected, so I'm concerned about what's going on with this endli. I can count 11 or 12 filets, so I highly doubt he's a SB especially given his low price. He did used to have a curved spine, which has since cleared up, so maybe just poor genetics that are affecting his growth?

He eats tilapia, shrimp, and smelt like a pig but just doesn't seem to grow :(

Any ideas?

I suggest adding a good brand pellet to its diet but like you stated possibly genetic issue.

Maybe its genetics, i had a cb endli too that didnt grow much, got stunned at 6” but idk what happened it started to have a growth sprut.

Are you saying yours stuck at 6" for a while and then started to have a growth spurt? Or it was the growth spurt that got it to 6"?

Stuck at 6” for about 2-3 months, then sudden growth to 10” in next 2 months, some polys that are big eaters grows faster, some will eat and stop and only eat once a week even you introduce food to them, idk if they are just being picky or just fasting, i had some polys that did that aswell and once they start eating again like there is no tomorrow, thats when the growth become fast, sometimes we just dont noticed it.

Haha. Bought weeksii today and measured outside the tank at 8". So side by side to this endli. It's 8".... shiet...... this cb endli is one slow growing mofo.... lol
