i have built my frame for tank
but have a question regarding the epoxy
does the plywood need priming with anything before i apply the epoxy??
help greatly appreciated
as i have the epoxy in front of me id like to get started ASAP
cheers

The epoxy should be applied directly to the plywood without any further prep work. Sometimes, the first coat of epoxy is diluted with acetone to decrease the viscosity and increase its penetration.

thanks for the info in the mean time simce my last post i have applied the epoxy the done side in what i can see is that i have finger prints of silicone that cannot be seen by eye over the ply so the epoxy has not adhered to these parts but i have a plan to cover them with wood filler and then apply the next coat will do the trick!!!

Make sure you are in a well-ventilated place and wear the correct breathing gear. I don't want to read anymore obituaries of MFK members.
