Help with eye cloudiness and pop eye!!!!

I have parachromis loisellei ( Yellow head cichlid ). She has eye cloudiness and now pop eye started to develope. I have been treating her with pimafix for 4 days now. I can't buy anything else so any help. What can i do ????????????? Plzz answer back

u should put that fish in a different tank for starters for treatment.

turn the heat to 80-82* and dose with melafix
should clear the cloud in a week or less may work on the popeye too not sure tho

Cloudy eyes can be caused by poor water conditions. What are your ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite levels? Instead of just treating an illness, it's a good idea to try and find any underlying causes.

agree with the above, something most likely went wrong with the water quality, unless the popeye is due to an injury (which would be noticeable if the fish was all nipped, etc.)

agree with getting the water params right..
The only treatment that works for popeye that i have found is epsom salts..
put some tank water in a bucket or tub and add 1 tablespoon of Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) per gal, leave fish in for 5 - 10 mins, 3 times a day..
This should heal the popeye within a few days..

what's epsom salt? can i use normal salt we use with foods, like 1 tablespoon per 10 gallon or sumthing?

no, it wont work..has to be epsom salt.. epsom salt is about $2 at the supermarket..or chemist..
