Help with feeding and IDing

Just bought this flowerhorn a few days ago and he's being really picky with his food. The pet store that sold him to me said they fed him ALife pellets but so far he's spit out every type of food I've tried giving him. Alife, Haifeng, Hikari, live/frozen bloodworms, and krill. He'll taste each then spit it out and leaves it for my Pleco to finish off =/ Any advice on feeding or should I wait it out a few more days?

Also, please help me ID this little guy and tell me if he has some good potential =) He's a little over 4". Thanks!

Just starve him for a few days he will take the pellets.

What scriving said, and nice ZZmalau. There is some room for potential, but don't expect a whole lot. The pearls may change into thinner or stays the same as it grows. Good luck!
