Hey guys and gals I recently acquired 2 juvi Motoro's and both are doing great. The only problem I am having with them is they don't want to eat anything but worms. I have offered them shrimp and some pellets but all they want to eat is worms. I tried a few times to only offer them shrimp but after a few days of them not eating I give in and go back to worms. They are still small so I don't want to starve them for very long. Should I just continue doing what I am doing or try something else?

cut out the worms for couple of days & only feed a bit of brine & pellets & maybe some cheap white fish in very small amts. I think after 5days they will be hungry to eat anything. good luck!

How big are your pups??? I would recommend that you do use the starve method, but only when they are healthy enough to be starved for afew days.

Others have been sucessful with soaking shrimp pieces in cut worm juice. Keep trying and good luck.

Thanks I guess I will continue to try other foods. The male is about 6 inches now and the female is almost 9 inches.

wow gettin big already;)

i usally start mixin the foods. chop up some worms and shrimp together, they eventually start sucking up peices of shrimp w out noticing... next thing u know they r eating shrimp rely good.

ive also did the starving method but it works alot better when u have teacher rays...
