help with fish ID

Ive had this fish about two years now i think it is a goldilia catfish (sp?)
its about 12" with 6 barbles (its like a cross beeen a syno and a wells)quite shy, my synodontis took offence so its now in the tropical pond with lots of smaller fish which it eats from time to time(ie all my baby ancistrus)
cannot find it in any of my books
what is it?
