My flowerhorns just breed for the first time and I was wondering should I keep the fry in the tank with them or should I move them to a separate tank.

If you don’t mind sacrificing a few batches, I’d leave them in with the parents.
I separate mine after they start to wiggle ...seems to work well...my flowerhorn and rose queen get super stressed and nuts the whole time the babies are in there...after I remove them they seem chill back out...
