Help with FW stingray

Hi guys. I have a new fw stingray. Its been in the tank for almost a month now. Recently, I observed its tail turning white or having something whitish on it.This morning I saw the angel fish nipping its tail (I already tranferred the angelfish). Is the whitish thing from the nipping ir is it another thing?

can you take a closer picture? How is the tail doing? does look like injury? need to watch for infection.

Its doing much better. Whitish thing is almost gone. I transferred the angel fishes and pleco to the other tank. Rookie mistake mixing them hehehe
