Dude r u sure they r alligator gars ? do u have any pics of them.. Give me details about the gars u saw.. Then ill be able to help u..

A 180 wont last long.. How much u paying for them..? They grow to about 10'.. Very aggressive.. How broad is ur tank ? I suggest getting a spotted gar.. Gator gars reach about 24" within the 1st year.. And what tank mates ?

The TSN's r also going to out grow ur tank.. They can easily reach 3'.. Jars r aggressive.. the would chase the gar aroung the tank and the gar could end up breaking its back..
oh what if i buy a slightly bigger gar than the jar
and i was kind of hoping that if i have all of them together since they were small then there might be chances that they would not fight once they grow up

No, My Jag didnt chase around my shortnose gar. He was quite a bit larger than the jag though maybe twice the length. I suggest just having a grow out tank to let the gar catch up. Mine grew Extremely fast it seemed like everytime I put a few minnows in his tank, he got larger!
It might work out.. But then again ur gars might end up breaking thier backs.. R u sure the gars ur getting r gators ? And how much r u paying for them ?
