* * *Help with Geophagus and Severum !!!!!

First, my Geophagus. I just got this guy yesterday. It looks like a Geophagus Surinamensis but in some way, he looks like an Altifon to me. He's about 8 inches. Can anyone help? This is a picture of him:

And this is a picture of my Severum. The guy I bought it from said it was a Red Head Rokteil. The biggest one is about 3 inches. I've had them for a few months now but I haven't seen any red on their shoulders at all. Do you think I have to wait longer to see it or is it even the Red Head.

Please help me identify my fish ! Thanks!

to me, they dont look like rotkeils but they do take a while to show red, especially females. some people say it could take till they're 4-5"
