Help with Geophagus ID

My friend bought this fish lately, and we don't know what type it is exactly.
I know the pictures are bad, but maybe you can help us identify the fish.

Surinamensisi really just a locale such as Surinum. When the locals are not sure they say surinemensis. That fish is defiinately an altrifons with the long trailer fins. I raised a colony of them in a 125 for years.

The small abdominal spot (0-4 scales) distinguishes altifrons from all other Geophagus.

Okay, apology for trying to get my question in there.... sorry OP.... I would like to keep a geophasus altifrons as a single fish. I know they prefer groups but can this be done without too much suffering on the part of the fish? It would be in a 4x2x2 with other more or less peaceful cichlids (severum and chocolate)
