So I have a 30 gallon tank that is slightly overstocked. Got some awesome deals I couldn't pass up and am now paying the price. I have about seven juvenile cichlids,a bala, a pleco, three algae eaters,a tetra and a peacock eel.i was wondering what would be a more suitable home for atleast the cichlids and eel a pleco and biggest algae eater

Slightly overstocked? Hahaha.

Are you asking what size tank could house them all?

What kind of cichlids? Algae eaters and pleco? We need specifics here bud.

I am new to fish keeping but my mindset is now set on a 125Gallon or a 150gallon. I would think that if you want a new tank might as well get a big one that way you can continue to stock it later on if you wanted or even trade those fish or give them away and get some bigger ones down the road just my thoughts really random I know.

One common pleco one Indian algae eater, a jewel mature, juvenile jd, juvenile convict, juve blue dolphin, a juve kenyi, juve ob zebra, a juve red zebra, and a juve hongi/lab. Just looking for adequate space for all

these posts are all correct; to me the easiest and best option would be to get a 150 to 200 gallon (typicly both will have the same foot print but taller) and put the cichlids and shark in there. the water peramiters are different for the different fish but the pleco's are adaptive so put the bigger ones in there as well. then get a 55 gallon for the rest, throw in some smaller pleco, and keep your thirty going for a backup if someone doesnt get along of you want to introduce other fish into ether tank and they need to grow out a little

not a pro my self but i hope this helps some.
if you plan on keeping these fish for life you will need to separate them and get bigger. i have a bali in one of my tanks that's six months old and around four inches.

and breezy I feel the same way I was just wondering if anybody had any other input
