Help with Glass Headstanders?

So in a couple days, I will be getting 10-20 Charax gibbosus and I am unsure of where I can put them until I get a more ideal setup for them.

Are these fish scale eaters or no? I know not to mix them with small fish, but I am hoping to mix them with my tat and larger catfish.

I have read all the information on the web, and their close genus, Roeboides are scale eaters but nothing says that Charax are from first hand experience.

definite scale eaters bro. i had 1 in with scombs and fatf, he raked scales off larger fish on a regular. not sure how they work as a group but not intimidated by larger fish of other species. good luck!

I got 11 today. They are mostly 2 1/2-3" and in a 20 long for the time being.

I am going to put in some feeder goldfish to see if in groups they will still go after it. I am hoping to eventually put them in a 165 with my red tail vampire tetra and ageneiosus cats, but don't want to take any chances with them killing either.
