help with ICH!!

Hey MFK Ive just cured ich in one of my smaller tanks but like an idiot I think i planted some in a larger tank by putting my hand in one then the other so now i need to change heaters between larger tanks because the heater in my ich tank is inadequate to get and temp at 86. so how can i sterilize the heater before putting it into my african tank so i dont spread it again thanks.

Take it out and dry it completely. Leave it dry for about an hour and that should kill the ich.

I agree.......Ich has three stages of life.....The spots on the body are that of the infestation popping/hatching out of the skin.........When they are free swimming, this is when they attch themselves to other bodies and then eat and/or lay eggs into the skin........

Dip it in bleach then rinse it off.
