Ok, here's the deal. Last night my male Trimac decided he had no further use for my female and wanted her dead. I got her out of the tank as I had no divider and put her in with my young Midas. She was in the tank for about a half hour and the Midas's face turned a bright beet red. Now, if anyone remembers I bought him in April as a Barred Midas, but noticed a faint pink around his chin so I posted a pic, everyone replied he looked like a barred but I suspected he may be a Red Isletas. My question is, does this sound like a Barred Midas or since his face turned completely red is he most likely a Red Isletas. Sorry I have no pic to post. I hoping someone has enough experience with this to be able to give me a good answer. I wish I had a pic, maybe I could get one tonight.
