Help with ID

My uncle is in the Philippines and he bought some fish from the market that he had never seen before, so he asked me if I knew what they were. I've never seen them before. This is the first time the chefs had seen this species as well. The locals call them piña-piña. Anybody have any ideas?

Agreed and interesting how no one knows what kind of fish they are but uncle brought them home to eat.

The locals have caught them before, I think it's just relatively rare. The locals have a name for it, but that's the problem with common names, they don't do much good.

Looks like a pleco mixed with a lobster. That is super weird.

They are related to a fish found off the US called a Sturgeon Poacher. They are related to Searobin but have a much more armored body. The name of this particular species escapes me, but this is a Sturgeon Poacher.
