jsut got a new jardini about 3-4 inches long and it wont eat anyhting..should i be woried or do i jsut need to be patient for it to get use to the tank?
I've said this in a few other threads too, Try flakes. My baby silver, 6 in, won't eat anything BUT flakes...weird I know, give it a try if nothing else works, lol. Course he will eventually eat other things when he gets bigger, but flakes are a good start.
k thanx for the adive but also he seems to stay in the dark sides of the tnak when the light is on.. ive got a 15watt red color fish lamp.is it to bright or does he also need to get use to the tank?
I also thought at first that my Jardini was bothered by bright light so I switched to a dimer one. This mad no difference, he still stayed in the darker corner. I replaced the brighter light and a few weeks later he is swimming around more. I guess it just takes them longer than most fish to get used to their tank (skittish).
As for what they eat, mine eats market shrimp and bloodworm (I'm trying to get him to accept pellets).
