there are leech in my FH tank
loads and loads of 'em are there in the tank

i haven't fed any live food other than ghost shrimp that was a few months back
but i am seeing leech now
how is that

are there any other type of parasite similar looking similar to leech, that can grow in sand
the sand was brought nearly 6-7 months ago(don't remember exactly when)
i just removed a whole lot of water added humongous amount of salt and let it for a few minutes
and adding fresh water to the tank

will this help me get rid of leech

I'm not 100% on this, but wouldn't praziquantel work being that leeches are worms?

Look like this?

could see them with the naked eye but cannot notice all that detail with out a microscope
i just saw some green leech like parasites stuck to my fish and after some time they are red and fat
and there were so many
i gave my FH a salt bath and they were gone
but i don't know whether all of 'em in my tank are gone or not
